BOGOTÁ, (Redacción Pacocol) — Mientras el presidente de Colombia Álvaro Uribe maniobra para hacer realidad otra reelección, decenas de miles de trabajadores e indígenas toman el camino de la movilización en defensa de sus derechos, en medio de la barbarie policial. El Escuadrón Móvil Antidisturbios de la Policía Nacional (Esmad) atacó la mañana del 17 de octubre a una movilización pacífica de pobladores de una vereda de Apiay, Meta, que apoyan el paro de 1000 obreros contratistas de la Empresa Colombiana de Petróleos (Ecopetrol).
