WASHINGTON – Raúl Yzaguirre, presidente del Consejo Nacional de La Raza (CNLR), la organización más grande de hispanos en el país, dijo en una rueda de prensa, el 24 de febrero, que la falta de educación de calidad, servicios médicos, buenos empleos además de sufrir por la discriminación define el “Estado de la Norteamérica Hispana” y son los problemas críticos para los latinos en las elecciones del 2004.

BOGOTA – Con la llegada de de Álvaro Uribe al poder se concretan las aspiraciones del capital multinacional energético en Colombia, mediante el decreto 1760 del 2003 se empieza a “reestructurar” a ECOPETROL con el fin de acabarla, se le quitan actividades que definen la política petrolera y por lo tanto ingresos para el país, se le descapitaliza, pues se le despoja de sus activos más valiosos incluyendo el inventario de información geológica.
