People's Weekly World Newspaper, 03/01/07 18:21
We are always working to ensure that the People’s Weekly World/Nuestro Mundo arrives each week — every time, on time.
Almost everyone receives the paper on time and in good shape. But a number of you have written or called us describing problems you’ve had with your delivery. It became apparent that in some parts of the country there were problems with delivery, caused by the Post Office and by Greyhound.
Over the past year, we have been working to ensure that each and every one of our readers and distributors receives the service you deserve, and we have taken a number of steps in that direction.
We began tracking and managing shipments and complaints online with both the mail service and Greyhound.
I have seen definite improvement within the past few months, and many readers and distributors have written or called saying that they are happy with the quicker service.
While there are good signs regarding your service, I want to make sure that things are moving in the right direction.
Please continue reporting any problem you have with your delivery — is it late? is it damaged? unwrapped when you requested it to be wrapped? — to me, personally.
We are not the corporate media. Unlike them, we are not simply concerned with the bottom line. We want our readers — our allies in struggle — to enjoy their paper in a timely fashion, and to make sure they are able to use it to build the movements for peace, progress, democracy, equality and socialism.
Sincerely,
Dan Margolis
Business Manager
